Just When You Think You've Heard It All ...
A Minnesota man pled guilty to driving his motorized La-Z-Boy while drunk. He left a bar, on his chair, after drinking 8 or 9 beers. His blood alcohol contant was 0.29, more than three times the legal limit, when he crashed into a parked car. The chair was powered by a converted lawnmower and had a stereo and cup holders.

True Mom Story
My sister, Peg, recently received a phone call from a woman looking for Peg's husband Chuck. The woman said she had tried the other number listed in Chuck's name and sounded a bit confused. Peg didn't think too much of it and continued about her day. Later that afternoon Peg visited Mom, who told her some woman had called looking for Chuck and, since she had pronounced his last name correctly, Mom had assumed the caller knew Chuck and told the her, "Oh, I divorced him years ago, but if he wants to keep paying my phone bill, that's okay with me." No wonder the poor caller was confused! I guess, when you're 93 and in a nursing home, you take your fun where you can find it.
