Postage Increase

Postage is going up again -- to 46 cents -- in January 2011. Instead of raising the price of stamps 1-2 cents each year or so, why don't they raise the cost to 50 cents and leave us alone for a few years. Then, when another increase is needed, raise the price to 55 cents and leave us alone again for a few more years. These annual price hikes are ridiculous! I've heard of being nickeled and dimed but the government is pennying us to distraction.
